For the past 2 years, I’ve been attending the Music Production program at Weaver Academy for the Performing and Visual Arts @weavermusicpro . I wanted to share something I had fun working on in the class recently, this short silly song called “Guitar Wielding Alien”. The class gives the opportunity for us to work outside of the music styles that we would normally make, and I had a lot of fun playing with synths and sounds on this one. #song #highschool #electricguitar #musicproducers #alien

They did a great job performing on @marthabassettshow and Finn performed one song with his sister, Shay, for nostalgia since they appeared together three years ago on the same show. Hurricane Helene is blowing out just in time for a two-gig weekend! Finn and his sister Shay will be playing at the Piney Grove Elementary Schools Fall Festival from 10 - 1 and then have a 30-minute set from 3:15 - 3:45 at the Fizz & Beats Zero Proof Fest on Saturday, September 28th in the Botanical Garden. Both evets will be held in Kernersville, NC. The elementary school event is free and the Zero Proof Fest tickets are $10 if purchased in advance, $12 at the door, 14 and under are free (6 hours of live music and 4 complimentary 'mocktails' are included in the price of tickets). He'll also be debuting his newest original song, "The Fall" for the first time. If you're in the local area, come on out! 🤘😀🎸🎶

Congrats to Finn! 🥳🎉 He has been offered a spot in the Music Production program at Weaver Academy. He's now a member of the Class of 2028! He's worked incredibly hard on his musical skills since 3rd grade so it's great to see him get into a specialized program that will take him to the next level. Go Finn!! 👏👏👏

Several people have asked to hear a bit of the demo he created and submitted so here it is. He's learning how to record his own music. In this demo he sings main vocals, harmony vocals, plays guitar, plays bass, synced his drum track, and added a few sound effects. He's a one man band! 🎶 He's currently experimenting with mashups. Here's a '90s mashup of When I Come Around by Green Day and Wonderwall by Oasis.

The event was called National Night Out and brought together law enforcement officers, firefighters, and neighbors in our community for fun, music, and conversation. Go kids!! 🎶

(Japan, Part 2 of 2) Finn hasn't been performing or online recently because he's been busy backpacking with his family throughout JAPAN for summer vacation! He just returned from a 21-day trip where he rode the bullet train for over 3,000 miles in addition to walking almost 250 miles!! Highlights of the trip included visiting an elementary school and a high school where attended classes for a day and presented information about the education system in the United States. At both schools he performed a few songs on the guitar to the delight of cheering students. In addition to music, two of Finn's loves include Japanese animation and seafood. He couldn't have vacationed in a better spot than the land which gave birth to both Pikachu and sushi! He was truly in heaven. Finn was brave enough to try raw horse meat and stayed at a host family for a few days without his parents. It was a trip of growth and he's found a new hobby with ultimate frisbee. This was Finn's first trip abroad and we think he's now caught the travel bug.
